I met-up with this couple about 6:30 on a summer night, in Downtown Nashville, to take their engagement pictures. The sun and lighting were in our favor, which allowed for glowy photos and added to some creative engagement portraits. Congrats to the engaged couple and I have no doubt their Florida wedding will be beautiful.
Even though this Mr.and Mrs. got married in Gatlinburg, they wanted to have a session at home with the kids involved. If you decide to elope, you can still get dressed up and have pictures taken at home or after-the-fact. Sometimes when you book a venue out-of-town, you don’t get much say so on who your photographer is. I mean, I know the groom won’t want to get dressed up twice, but what bride doesn’t want to get dressed up in their wedding gown again.
Some of my favorite weddings are small, intimate backyard weddings. Having only the people around that mean the most and truly enjoying the day is really what it is all about. This couple had a beautiful wedding with their family and close friends.
