It’s always a good idea to do an annual family session, but it is also good to do a yearly extended family session. Everyone changes, even yearly. Document your years together. Make it a family get-together, so everyone always has memories and photographs to look back on.
When you have a family, this big, getting everyone to be on the same page can be tricky. Thankfully I was able to capture pictures with everyone looking. I did have to work for it, but it was worth the work. I love it when prominent families get everyone together for pictures. Plus, grandparents do love it when they have pictures of their grandbabies.
Another family session with this birth family. These pictures capture Demetri’s personality perfectly. When the little ones are this age, I just let them roam around and do their thing. It allows me to truly capture their personality.
Tucker came into the world and was immediately greeted by numerous family members with nothing but love. Capturing sweet moments during a birth is what makes having birth photos worth it. Every birth has their own story and individual sentimental moments. Allow yourself to live in the moment and look back on these moments with photographs.
